Aqua line AAL
Fluoride Removal System
This fluoride system was created for people who have fluoride problems in their water. Will reduce fluoride to below 0.5 ppm.
The AAL is a non-regenerable drinking water and general-purposecartridge designed to reduce fluoride to below 0.5 ppm. It isconstructed totally from FDA grade materials and media.
The AAL cartridge utilizes a special fine mesh activated alumina thathas been preconditioned specifically for single use cartridge applications. Laboratory evaluations have demonstrated that pre-conditioning step will increase the AAL capacity to as high as 11,000ppm F+ with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm F+ feed.
High pH, high bicarbonate levels, and high flow rates all adversely affect the capacity of the AAL. For the best results do not exceedrecommended flow rates and pH conditions. For influent streams above 100 ppm of bicarbonate reduce capacity by 50%. Above 200 ppm reduce capacity by 75%
Arsenic
The AAL has also been shown to reduce Arsenic to below 0.02 ppm (from 0.12 ppm feed). However, the total capacity for arsenic has to be determined
